Several different people often live stream CTGP-R content including online play, time trialing and speed running on twitch.tv. Check there regularly to find when people are live. Video and live streaming content can also often be found on youtube.com. MrBean35000vr's YouTube channel often features announcement videos about CTGP-R and his twitch.tv channel often features game play content from CTGP-R.

A competitive online play community exists for Mario Kart Wii and CTGP-R at mkboards.com. These players often host tournaments and leagues to determine the best racers or team of racers in online play.

A competitive time trialing community also exists for Mario Kart Wii and CTGP-R. mkwrs.com maintains a list and history of the fastest known completion times for the 32 tracks in Mario Kart Wii. The leaderboards section of this website maintains a leaderboard of all CTGP-R player's fastest times on all tracks in CTGP-R and Mario Kart Wii as well as other custom tracks not found in CTGP-R. Known Bugs

Let us know about any bugs not listed here that you find by getting in touch with MrBean35000vr.

  • Countdown mode does not work offline. This will not be fixed.
  • Channel displays in 4:3 when launched from the Homebrew Channel on Wii U.
  • For some people 4 player offline mode does not work.
  • Channel cannot be turned off/crashes with Power button or Reset button.
  • Updater sometimes can't connect.
  • The cutscene at the end of local multiplayer team VS races is incorrect.
  • The CTGP-R Channel cannot be installed to the Wii menu if not launched via the Homebrew Channel.
  • Battle mode does not work properly.
  • The cutscene for beating all GPs doesn't work.
  • Playable Miis are not automatically unlocked as intended.
  • You can't use the 'change characters between races' feature in two player online.
